Client management

Client management includes the following:

ISPadmin enables effective management of connected clients in Clients. Clients are organized in a well-arranged way by services and other additional criteria. (Settings Active Services General)

You can use fulltext search in each of the contact lists thus effectively finding all needed information about clients. You can combine search criteria in order to get better results from your search. You can always click on client's name in contact list and enter directly to Client card which displays client details and enables you to work with them. Hover over client’s name with your mouse and will get quick information pane with selected client information.

Client card

It displays all information related to a currently selected client. On the left side of the screen, there are tabs in which you may work in relation to each section. Client card is accessible from Client Contacts upon clicking on a requested contact. The same applies on any place in the app where you can click on client´s name, e.g. in Scheduling or Invoicing.

The Invoicing module solves completely all financial requirements related to provision of the Internet connection as well as associated services. The system is suitable for keeping the tax evidence as well as of double entry bookkeeping.

The system automatically issues invoices to all clients every month; these are stored as PDF documents. Invoices in this format are easy to handle, forward, and also print.

Issued invoices may be easily sent out to the clients´ e-mails, or sent via regular mail. You can also print a particular invoice for a personal meeting. The issued invoices may be displayed in Client portal at any time, and if the payments are recorded in the system regularly, the clients can also have an overview of paid invoices.

Generation and overview of issued invoices are done by individual invoicing groups. In the overview, there are variable symbols for specific periods, numbers of invoices, prices without and with VAT, VAT, issue date, and the name of the person who generated the invoice.

The system checks the payments for the invoices according to the imported bank statement when it can automatically match the payments. You can also enter payments manually as well. In case of a payment delay, ISPadmin suspends service to the client until the time when the payment is made, then the service will automatically become accessible again.

The Billing module also allows generating reminders for all clients with exceeded due dates, issuing separate invoices, overpayments, underpayments, inclusions, and solving other accounting operations.

The invoices may be exported into the most frequent accounting systems.

Introduction to Invoicing

It is a module for organizing tasks and plans, incl. recording of generated service calls and their resolution by technicians.

The settings of the module are in Settings Syst.settings Scheduling where you can customize the behaviour of the module according to your needs.

It is recommended to adjust the settings of rights for Scheduling in Settings Administrators. Main technician, scheduling administrator, or administrative assistance may plan tasks for each technician here. Technicians have access to their daily plan, where they find out what, when and where is to be resolved on a particular day.

Also, you may define your own task types to mark certain tasks in Settings Code lists Scheduling Task types.

Scheduling module provides for the following examples:

  • Adding new tasks to a service technician´s schedule.
  • Overview of scheduled work of service technicians.
  • Monitoring of workload of all technicians.

This is a list of all FAQ divided into sections.
All FAQ are also listed in a box on the right side of each section (e.g. FAQ for Client management are listed in all pages of Client management articles).

The documentation follows the structure of ISPadmin menu, i.e. all the articles have been divided into menu categories of ISPadmin (e.g. Clients, Settings etc.), and, when acceptable, some of them have been merged into a new category (e.g. Client management includes Clients and Client card).

Settings bookmark enables to edit system settings which are then used by ISPadmin. Some of the most important settings are tariffs, services, various code lists, and administration of client accounts.

Settings System Settings enables to change behaviour, design, and settings for correct operation of the system, router settings, and much more.

Settings of invoicing module is separated from system settings and can be found in Invoicing Settings.

Settings of Scheduling module can be found in Settings System Settings Scheduling.

This tab allows you to keep track of all the devices and goods that are in the system.

For Inventory to work correctly, it is first necessary to complete all the relevant code lists in Settings Code lists Inventory:

If you do not wish to use Inventory, you may arrange for the tab not to be displayed in Settings Syst. settings Inventory: You have to set the central_store parameter to 0.

Different administrators may have different rights for this section (see Settings Administrators Administrators).

This bookmark displays all operation statistics and information on the entire system, e.g. server load statistics, statistics of transferred data, information about administrator and client login, assigned client MAC addresses, history of sent / received SMS from SMS gate, IPTV set-top box statistics, IP range usage, statistics of clients by tariffs, disconnected clients, syslog, list of transmitters and many others.

Authorize administrators to see this bookmark in Settings Administrators Administrators.

Client portal

Clients have access to their Client portal where invoices, settlements, transmitted data graphs, messages and information sent by the system provider, are tabularly displayed. Also, clients have the option to send SMS, if SMS gate is connected to your server, and you enable clients to send SMS. Client portal has been localized into many world languages. You may adjust the behaviour and display of the portal in Settings System settings Client portal where you find detailed description of the settings.

You may also change the skin of client portal by creating your own skin template.

Other combines additional functions of the system. An important part is Changelog screen where you always find information on the current version installed on your server. Thanks to this you can familiarize with newly added functions of the system, as well as those of the previous versions. Google Maps were integrated into ISPadmin, by means of which you can show the locations of devices and clients on a high-quality map background. Maps bookmark also provides other options.

Additional modules extend ISPadmin by other means of using the system, or above-standard functions which are not part of the classic installation.
Additional modules are not a standard part of ISPadmin, e.g. Invoicing module and Scheduling module; hence need for activation of their separate licence.
